To all:
If you search Newegg rebate center, you should be able to get the $40 MIR form, which is only valid today, Thursday 28, 2010.

For someone shifting from from a regular HDD to SSD, don't get too caught up in the performance difference among much more highly priced drives. If it's for simple use (OS loading, and application launching), any good SSD will be a world of difference (Indilinix or Intel, no Jmicron or other outdated SDD's that do not support TRIM), and the performance difference from something more expensive, is practically negligible.

Gives a good idea of the differences between the Agility and Vertex line. For the money, this Agility deal looks pretty decent as long as the rebate arrives. |

@htpw16: trim comes shipped right out of the box, but i highly recommend going to the new 1.5 FW as it fixes alot of bugs with the 1.4 trim. flashing the drive is cake, just boot the cd with the HD set in IDE mode from the bios.
the new 1.5 firmware will also combines the GC fw if your not using TRIM (for non windows 7 users and mac), it also has much better wear leveling. OCZ is really dominating the SSD market with really solid firmware. |

How difficult would it be to clone my existing Win7 installation to the SSD.
I always did a fresh install when I got a new HardDisk before, but this time I have my Win7 set up and all and don't want to start over again. |
