Personally, I think this is a great price compared to what I pay at Henry's and Target. I usually pay $3- $4 for 11 oz. (.27- .36 cents per ounce)

It really has very little flavor and althought you are suppose to use less than sugar I had to use just as much. Calorie wise it's less than sugar. Beats the heck out of using artificial sweetners or those made from sugar.

If anyone is interested, here is a more in detail look at 'Agave Nectar' [linode.com]

Seems like one of the modern health foods more supported by hype than anything else. A low glycemic index is about all it has going for it. It goes through a process very similar to High Fructose Corn Syrup, and is even higher in fructose than HFCS...and is marketed as Agave Nectar, yet it has nothing to do with flowers...its actually made from the starchy root of the agave plant.
