HP [hp.com] has the G62t 15.6" Customizable Notebook PC for a great price after 20% cashback from bing [bing.com].
Shipping is $29.
Basically, the big choice here is the processor.
If built with the...
Core i3-330M 2.13GHz CPU and no optional upgrades, this comes out to $570 - $114 cashback + $29 S&H = $485.
Core i3-350M 2.26GHz CPU and no optional upgrades, this comes out to $620 - $124 cashback + $29 S&H = $525.
Core i5-430M 2.26GHz CPU and no optional upgrades, this comes out to $670 - $134 cashback + $29 S&H = $565.
Core i5-520M 2.40GHz CPU and no optional upgrades, this comes out to $770 - $154 cashback + $29 S&H = $645.
Core i5-540M 2.53GHz CPU and no optional upgrades, this comes out to $820 - $164 cashback + $29 S&H = $685.
Core i7-620M 2.66GHz CPU and no optional upgrades, this comes out to $970 - $194 cashback + $29 S&H = $805.
Here is the list of notebook processor benchmarks to help you decide.

I think the best price/performance here is the i3-350m or one of the i5s. But the i7 620M is a beast (beats the 720QM)
Specifications:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Core i3, i5 or i7 processor.
3GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
250GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive (upgrade to 500GB 7200rpm +$60)
Intel(R) HD Graphics (with 5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader and HDMI +$25)
15.6" diagonal High Definition HP LED Brightview Display (1366x768)
8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer
Webcam + Microphone
Wireless-N Card
6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery
Altec Lansing stereo speakers
Weighs 5.5 Ibs (This is why it can't be compared to the Dell Studio, entirely different purpose/portability, Plus these processors destroy the Pentium dual-core)
FREE Upgrades:
- FREE 3GB of memory upgrade from 2GB ($30 value)
- FREE Webcam ($25 value)
Shipping is $29.
