appearatly there is some problem with secotr alignment of this drive that causes write speed to be really slow < 2MB in non vista/7 os

seen the similar comments on newegg as well, anyone want to explain it to me what's going on?

I want to use this drive with my xbox 360 in an external enclosure, but seems like that's a bad idea at this point.
