That probably depends on what you have grandfathered. In my case, they would not grandfather the $24.99 internet+text and T-zones. The rep said the Even More plan had to have the $30 internet plan for smartphones (or $10 for feature phones). But then I was adding new lines and didn't bother to ask about existing lines, as I decided it was a no go for me at that point. Hope this helps.

Do you know if any American Express card will count for the amex discount? What do you need to do to get migrated to that? I know with corporate/student discounts they used your corporate/student email address to verify. How did you get amex added? TIA.

Who here is being hit with a "one-time" fee to change your plan to the even more plus plans? I'm in a contract until 12/10 been with them since 12/08 so 16 months.

everyone gets hit with the $35 dollar per line fee.

more and more i look into the EM+ plans they seem to be a rip off.

after 2 lines the em+ prices sky rocket for extra lines

to about $55 per each extra smart phone u add.. or $40 for each extra phone u add thats not a smart phone...

so 2 lines unlmited everything, with a full data, BIS, android or whatever data plan is $139..

any line afterwards no matter if its lines 3-5 smart phones with data 55
just talk and txt 30

so its about $52-$55 a month for each phone, unlimited everything.

both are blackberrys, using opera mini and gmail app for email and web surfing.

Does anyone know about grandfathering MyFaves?

I was talking to a rep trying to collect some info before making my switches, she said we could keep "MyFaves", but they wouldn't be unlimited, so I basically pointed out to her that obviously MyFaves wouldn't be grandfathered at all.

Is she crazy or what? I will not be making any changes if I can't keep it.

people with AAA and most universities also get a discount with tmobile i think its 15%

That's interesting and helpful. My girlfriend has a family plan with her family and she's paying damn near $300/month. She has 5 lines and only one phone is a smart phone that uses web, the other four are just unlimited talk/text. She added a line recently so that extended her contract for 2 more years. Needless to say when I found out I wanted to fix that problem ASAP. No one needs to be paying 300 bucks for 5 phones when 2 of them aren't even used often. So what do you think should be done? I wan't to try to switch her over to the EM+ , pay all the fees and what not, have it for two months and then cancel the additional lines she doesn't really need.

My question is that people that have already done this have you gotten out of the ETF?

FYI, With AAA or a Student, the migration fee is waved.

Is 750 minutes for $49.99 the lowest family plan available for Even More Plus or are there any unadvertised plans with lower minutes? Also the representative I spoke with said that if I choose an Even More Plus plan I will never be allowed to enter into a 2-year contract again in order to get discounted phones. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I wanted anyone who had T-Mobile @home service to know that the 5$/line includes this one as well. You have to call since this service is no longer actively sold, but I ended up talking to rep who applied the 5$/line to not only my 3rd line by also my @home line bringing my bill down another 5$ unexpectedly.

I'm thinking about getting this for my 3 G1's

I'm currently paying 79Voice+20Text+10extra line =117 after taxes

So this would be 119 + 5 dollars for the extra line. I'll just leave out internet service on the third phone.

Pay a little extra for web on 2 phones and more minutes I think is good.
