I'm glad I signed up for Earthlink DSL then, I was considering Verizon DSL too because they had good prices. Now I'm certain I made the right decision.

It's bad when you are trying to get support, yet you know more about computers than the person who is trying to help you.

D'oh! That sucks raising bandwidth for new subscribers as opposed to longtime users. You can't really blame them, its just a marketing ploy to sign up as many new users as possible. Earthlink has good service, but the price compared to other DSL services is a little bit higher, not to mention some cable internet users now get about 3Mbps, so its only natural that Earthlink DSL is offering this kind of deal to new subscribers, it's all about competition.

What's a 611? I loathe having to call their tech support. Hyper idiots, they are. There really should be like some way to instaneously get bumped to level two support rather than have to endure the level one "scripts". Gawdamn.

I know people who kept "trying" AOL (using those lovable coasters they used to send) for months at a time, for free.
