![]() My friend has done more rebates than me and has yet to get a single rebate Invalidated. It's just who they decide they want to start denying and then they deny all of that specific Customer. So once a rebate of yours is invalidated with the "... Audit process" reason then all your following rebates will be denied. If not, then you are good until that 1 time

Not sure if this is a viable solution, but I woke up this morning thinking, if we really want to put a dent in McAfee, why not add this issue to their wikipedia page? Again, it's just an idea...I don't know if there are any ramifications in doing so. What do you guys think?

2. You can SELL anything you own, as long as you are honest in the selling of it, ie. you state upc was removed, or that it is new, used or, whatever... You just cannot say you are an "'authorized' reseller" of the product, if you do not have a formal selling/reselling agreement with the manufacturer (e.g. McAfee). However, legally, you can sell anything you friggin own (on eBay or otherwise), whether it be FAR (or almost FAR) software, or your bike or whatever... Also, if you sell the software outside of the retail box, you are required under the EULA, to sell it along with a computer or computer accessory, this is also the eBay policy if you sell it on eBay. But if it is still in a retail box, you are not required to do this. Most people on eBay or otherwise are not "'authorized resellers" (as termed under the EULA), but that does not mean you are not "authorized" (as in "plain general English usage"), under the law, or otherwise generally, and under common sense, to sell your FAR software as an individual. But, you may need to say the item is "used" or whatever, if you have removed the UPC (required if selling on amazon for example). |
