Like the title says, KMart will be giving a $20 game credit with the purchase of SC2 starting 7/27 and lasting until 7/31. Maybe Amazon or Walmart will price match.

Credit over to CAG and Sears/KMart's official representative (SHC-Gamer) over there.

Edit: Apparently this promotion is good in-stores only.

Update: Just went out and bought it, and got two copies. One for full price, but the other for ~$40 after using the first coupon. And I still have another coupon. You can either sell or return the first game and maybe still keep the coupon since it's on a separate receipt. The guy checking me out asked me I planned to return a copy, but I'm splitting the cost with my roommate.

Yeah, you just have to purchase them on 2 transactions...so buy 1 copy only, get the coupon to print out on your receipt, then buy the second copy. So you'll get the 2nd one for $40 and be left with a $20 gaming coupon [blizzardbeta.com].

For us who have yet to pre-order SC2, how do we exactly use this deal to get a slicker deal on Amazon or elsewhere?

For anyone who preordered from Amazon and would like to see this price-matched, EMAIL THEM and say so!I had success doing so.

I'm waiting for the same!

I already took part in that Gamestop deal a while back where you could order Diablo III and SC2 and each game would come to $45 shipped, but that's after 3-day shipping. Plus, Amazon > Gamestop in my book.

Good for K-Mart, it seems like this group of video gamers has the ear of someone up the chain of command. I cancelled my SC2 amazon pre-order after the first beta. That is when I realized I'm just not good at a game that your skill level partly based on actions per minute.

Instead I've jumped on the League of Legends bandwagon (free with optional micro-transactions). It is much more the speed this 33 year old enjoys

Lol. I am a HoN player myself. I hear LoL is a little more simple than HoN, and the player community is nicer, but I still hear good things about it nonetheless. Though I have friends who I play HoN with, so that's what I stick with.

DotA is pretty garbage compared to HoN. I don't know why one would stick with DotA since HoN is available, unless you really enjoy Techies or other heroes who haven't been ported. Otherwise, HoN is better in almost every single way.
