I work p/t at a RS and they are always in stock in this area. They just don't sell at all. It is a pretty nice phone system and unless you buy their premium services you should never have to pay a phone bill as long as they stay in business or for as long as you own the system. But, the price has been a barrier for most people. It was $249 when RS first starting carrying it so maybe at $179 they will sell more. They have to make some money somewhere to cover that lifetime of service. I suppose they hope that most people will buy their premium package. Anyway, it is a good deal.

Another Ooma-lover here. Great call quality, works with fax machines, no complaints, no problems. I've heard that they are pretty seamless at porting, but I didn't port, so I don't know. Took about 15 minutes to set up and start making calls. The free service gives me everything I need. Pays for itself in a matter of a few months. It's really a no-brainer.

For $160, it's a steal, FP material. I wish I waited for few more hours, I got it from another place for $180 about 6 hours ago . And it's already in shipping mode, can't cancel it. Good for you guys though. Repped both OP and the Coupon dude

i paid $200 at frys 2 days ago. should i return it and buy at radioshack? shipping eats up the refund tho because the package is HUGE!!!
