Staples: HP Officejet 6500 All in One for $75 AC + Tax & $ for $25-off Coupon
I was looking for some fair level/cost color multifunction printer for our kid to college and crossed this deal, not sure if it's the lowest price, but will beat many on eBay and CL.
Tomorrow @ Staples, HP Officejet 6500 All-in-One (no wireless) will be on sale for $99.98. With a $25-off coupon (for some $ I guess, though I never bought one), the deal could be around $75 + tax + the $ cost.
The OJ 4500's everywhere are higher than that. So, I will go for that OJ 6500 tomorrow.

I checked the local Staples last night, they were all gone already. But I need some in this weekend or next week for delivery to the dorm.
You might want to think about the Canon MX860 printer since its wireless and the ink can be bought for low prices if you look around online. Not sure how reliable the refurbished units are but the one I grabbed on clearance at Staples about two weeks ago has performed very well so far.
1. Can you speak to the quality of this printers print, scan and copy quality? Is it good? Any issues?
2. Can you point everyone to the coupons and rebates you mention?
there is already a thread on SD talking about this printer deal, just search MFC 295CN and it will show up
about quality, print quality is top-notch, color pictures look crisp and clear, scan and copy are also of high quality, all in all a very good AIO printer, best thing is ink is dirt cheap, like almost free
The HP 6500 is a GREAT printer. I've had the wireless version for over a year and it's probably the best inkjet printer I've ever owned. Cost per page is really low (the black XL cartridge is good for 1,200 pages); but to really keep the cost down, a continuous ink system is a great investment.
I've been using this one: Click Here[inkproducts.com] for about 9 months with no problems. I've calculated my current cost per 100 pages in color (text with some graphics) is about $0.29- Roughly a penny for every 3 pages.
For those that need the 6500 wireless version, here is my story from yesterday at Staples. Maybe this will help some.
1. Took Sunday Office Max ad to Staples and they price matched OfficeMax $149.99 price (saved $20)
2. OfficeMax also gives $20 for printer recycle on that price (trade in got me another $20)
3. Also had my $25 off $75 discount with me as a Rewards member (for online, but the stores always honor them)
4. Took the 2 printer cartridges from the trade in and recycled those too seperately.
Net price for the 6500 Wireless was about $100 + tax and Love It! Good Luck.
