The mecha suit pretty much ruins the game too

It is much more linear than the NES original with the board broken down into levels and the selection of jellybeans pre-determined based on the level. That said it's still pretty fun and the 'bonus levels' unlocked during gameplay can actually be pretty challenging. The art style is pretty rad too. Strong recommendation for anyone who enjoyed the NES version back in the other day. For anyone else, you certainly could do much worse.

Also it's still trading on Goozex [goozex.com] at the equivalent of $22.50.

You can collect three treasure chests on each level, that you get by solving puzzles in the level, though not required to obtain them.
