This is a pretty good deal. I believe the 16ct boxes at Walmart are $3.50. So you are saving around $7 compared to their prices (assuming you aren't using coupons).

Lots of us buy food from Amazon--very often, the prices are right Stick Out Tongue

Anyway, these boxes of Poptarts are usually $3.50 each at Walmart; they can be head cheaper on sale, of course.

Really? There's only like five different threads on here about it every day.
As long as you've got Amazon Prime or else buy something that qualifies for free shipping, Amazon sometimes has unbeatable bargains on grocery items, especially "specialty" type items that regular grocery stores never run on sale.

Last week 8-count pop-tarts were $14.90 for 10 boxes at Ralphs.

This sort of sale is better because because
1) you can use coupons (google for a $1.25 off 3 -print two per computer)
2) you can get a variety of flavors
3) You can be sure to get the current Varieties Promo boxes ==> free movie tickets!
4) you get more of the promo codes.

SPEAKING OF WHICH - anyone want to trade codes? I have a billion #1, #2 and #3 codes to trade. (Those're Strawberry, Cinnamon/Brown Sugar and Smores)

These sales come around fairly often, hopefully sooner than you would finish off 8 boxes of 12.
Last month Rite-aid had 8-count boxes for 50 cents(after the then-available $1/2 coupons and rewards)

Amazon has a complex pricing strategy. Sometimes the factors line up and prices go crazy-low.

Just a side note, but isn't it weird how scientist can make all that stuff taste soo good when mixed together. Just boggles the mind.

Majority of that is vitamins and preservatives - the actual poptart is just some flour, cracker meal, sugars, and heat. Not TOO surprising. I'm more shocked and appalled by how McDonald's can make their never-decaying burgers.
