Now for my own schpiel: I posted the JIC II deal a while back but didn't feel like dealing with CTD or my FFL, then tried to get one at Gander Mountain but they were OOS, so I decided the Mossberg was not the gun for me. Looked at the Maverick 88 (Mossberg) and the IA Defender (870 Clone) then found this one and decided to go for it. Also an 870 clone made in China, but coincidentally NEF is owned by Remington, so it's a good one.
Picked mine up this afternoon, it's a heavy SOB but smooth, easy to use, and nice. Good finish, from what I hear damn near impossible to ding or scratch. Pre-drilled/tapped for a signt, lugs on both ends for a strap. Accepts almost all 870 accessories, barrels and mag extensions are trickier but can be done. I'm picking up a pistol grip and possibly a tac light and it should be a good HD shotgun.
If you don't like guns made in China, I understand and accept your opinion, but please don't muck up the thread. $180 for a reliable shotgun is a deal regardless of where it's made.
