Restaurant.com has a new 80% off code PUMPKIN available. The $25 discount certificates are normally $10 or $15 (depending on restaurant), but are $2 or $3 with the code. They also sell $10 certificates for select restaurants for $4, making them 80 cents each with the code. Thanks brisar

This is the best deal I have ever seen!!!!!! 9000000000000000 thumbs up! Thank you to slickdeals for posting this WONDERFUL deal so often! My only complaint is that it doesn't make front page as much as it should. This is the best company in the whole world. This is not a coupon and works just like a gift certificate. It is basically like them giving you cash! Don't worry about them baiting you in with a restaurant and then later them giving you credit because the place closed down because this never happends. I don't believe this is a waste of money at all! This is definitely not like a coupon! Don't worry about jumping through any hoops because this is definitely not a rip off. There is a huge selection of high quality places and the food is wonderful! I bet if you are nice they will include alcoholic beverages! Don't worry about the minimum because remember it is just like cash! No restaurant would ever consider turning these down by the way. Don't worry about the tip because they save you time by adding it too your bill because they assume the service is wonderful! Of course the service will be perfect! Once again this is the best deal ever and should be on front page every week! If you are not spending a ton of money on these then you really should.

In the past I have been VERY negative towards this company... I am trying a new approach... I call it LYING... Smilie For those of you with a brain, please reverse everything I said above! Please feel free to call me a jerk and tell me to just not post! For those of you without a brain, please don't do any research and BUY BUY BUY these horrible coupons. Smilie I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! Smilie

I just wanted to contribute and say that a lot of places have stopped accepting these even when Restaurant.com is selling them.

I have 3 experiences in Irvine,CA. Just FYI

did you happen to go to Tomikawa with this?

I'm tempted but seriously their service is so shitty I would hate giving them 18% tip lol.

Shop Discover has 20% CB off at restaurant.com too. It says "Offer is not valid in combination with any other offers". Has anyone ever tried to use Shop Discover with a 80% off code and does it work?

Depends on the restaurant. Read the fine print underneath the prices for each restaurant. If it says "1 Certificate Per Table" then yeah, only 1 per party. But if it doesn't say that, then no limits - as far as I can tell...

it just matters if you find a restaurant you like

Dover Straits in Mundelein, IL is AWESOME. I got there and drop real moolah frequently. So to find it on here and save $25 every time i go?

yeah. that IS a good deal.

Ohh ok thanks, i was wondering because most of them don't say it and only says like... Minimum.. Dine in only, gratuity.

Are these certificates worth it? I'm talking about restaurants that requires you to buy double the amount of the certificate as a minimum. 18% tips, also might get bad service if they know you're going to use the certificate before you eat. I live in NYC.
For what it's worth, I've never presented this before ordering. Maybe I should have, but I usually forget - and I worry about someone taking a crap in my food before they give it to me.

you don't always have to spend $100..their are some that are $25, $50 & 100

I personally have had great luck with the many that I have bought. I'm getting ready to purchase some more!

It's not in the restaurant-specific fine print, but it is in the generic Restaurant.com fine print. You can only use 1 certificate at a time. If your party is at multiple tables, you can still only use 1 certificate. The 1/month is stated, but within reason, may not be as strictly enforced.
