Citi MasterCard 5% Back on Gas, Groceries, and Drugs
Citi MasterCard 5% Back on Gas, Groceries, and Drugs
Well, looks like times have changed.
I am sad to report that this deal has ended as of August 21st, 2006.
The terms for existing have changed as well, and not for the better.
Now, you get 2% back at Supermarkets, Gas Stations, Drugstores, and Convenience stores, as well as utility bills. You continue to get 1% back on everything else.
There is a new hot card in town though, called "Citi® Driver's Edge® Platinum Select® Card."
I'm about to make a seperate thread for it though...
-------------------------------------------------------
Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® Card [google.com] (expired)
Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® Card for College Students [google.com] (expired)
This is the best card I can find. There is no annual fee on this card.
You get 5% back (confirmed, for as long as you have the account) from purchases from all grocery stores (Wal-Mart Supercenters Included), all gas stations, and all drug stores. All other stores get 1% back. You may earn a maximum of $300 dollars a year.
The APR is a little high (17.74% for both), but I pay it off every month so I don't really care about that. When this thread was first posted it was lower for both, but things have changed.
Online access is quick, free, and easy. You can pay online (same day for free). In addition, it works perfectly with Bank of America's bill pay system, and I assume most others.
Fraud liability is $0, and you can have a photo put on your card. The card looks nice (grey with silver).
Chase MasterCard 5% Back on Gas, Groceries, and Drugs
Chase Rewards Plus [google.com] (expired)
The APR on this card will be 13.24% variable, 17.24% variable, or 22.24% variable, depending on your credit score.
Overall, these cards have no noticeable flaws in my opinion. Check them out!

Reason: Update to fix links, add Chase card

I paid all my bills in time with full amount. How do you get such a high credit line? How long have you been using credit card?

In 2 months I have $30 in cash back
