We had a set like this (checkers though, no pictures on the glasses) back in college. The problem was: they hadn't thought to make one side frosted glass, so in order to tell the pieces apart we had to use different alcohols. Of course, being a big guy, I always got stuck with Vodka or some other clear liquor while someone else got beer. Good times.....I think. I can't seem to remember, lol.

This is worth it for the shot glasses alone. Very hard to find single shot sizes in the store and then they charge you $10+ for about 5 of them.

My mom bought me this set for Christmas (yes, that was weird considering she does not drink). These shot glasses are about an 1/10 of the size of regular shot glasses. They are about the size of a thimble. Once you fill them up, you can barely see the frosting on the glass to tell which is which (plus, you are probably already hammered). Not to mention that they are hard as heck to wash because they are so small.

These would be good if you want to have some decorative chess set in your bar area but they are not for practicle use at all. I hope this information is helpful to potential buyers.

in for one... got one for my friend who coincidentally really likes chess and really likes to drink.

Who really wants to drink while thinking about chess strategy at the same time? Seems like it just slows down the whole process of getting drunk...
