no, my friend has one that he eventually gave to me cuz it was retarded

both sides with drip coffee no matter what. so either two cups, or two half cups then combined into one...

Then you have a defective item. I have the same product and I can do one or two cups at once. The left cup is the primary one and will brew when set to one cup.

They recommend that you have both cups in no matter one, in case for minor drips - but i don't even get that. Just make sure you cancel your monthly coffee shipment if you don't want it.

I have one that came with the two cups and a stainless thermos carafe. The bottom of the filter cone bucket has a hole on each end. If you make cups you have to make two.
