Let me step in and say the "Rebate-Zone" processor is completely horrible (Worse than TD, if I can put it in some words that people may understand). They will not acknowledge your rebate for AT LEAST 4 months (If they ever do), it will then say processing for a long, long period of time (A rebate I submitted back in September was acknowledged by them in January and it still says processing. Another I submitted in November hasn't been acknowledged yet.). So, it still may be a good deal without the rebate, just a word of caution.

Check out the Terms on the rebate form. It allows submission of two rebates.
They must be on the same receipt and submitted together.

So I thought this might mean we could send in two rebates on the same item, but it most likely means only one. And if you've already used this rebate form before on a different product, you won't qualify.

Even if the rebate doesn't go through and it stays for $17.99, it's a decent deal.

You are right, if we create a new account with Google and get the $10 GCO, $18 is a good price and we do not have to deal with the rebate. Getting it later will be a bonus

That's almost typical these days with rebates. I bought some items (from ehome, logitech, and others) about 3 months ago, and web-rebates still has it as "Processing." Yes TD and Onrebate also suck big time, but I doubt anything can be worse than that. I guess we'll have to find out. I realized that if you keep pestering them about your rebate (just keep calling them over and over), they make it a priority to send it out faster. I waited 2 months for my Samsung rebate to come from web-rebates ... I never received it, so I called and yelled at them about it, they told me to resubmit the receipt so I did, and I got the check a couple of weeks later.

I am still waiting all my rebates from last year when GCO showed up and we got crazy on SD. I have about ~8 rebates pending. I got tired of buying things with rebates, the last one I did not even waste my time for $12; why? to have 9 rebates to track? thank you all for reading my frustration
