Outdoor Potting Soil at Meijer for 99 cents per bag!

Hey everyone--I'm a rookie, so take it easy. Smilie

Beginning tomorrow (5/18) at 6AM and running until 11AM, Meijer B&M has its big bags of outdoor potting soil on sale for 99 cents. It's only an early bird special, and only while supplies last. This is a quality soil we've used in our garden in years past.

Hope this is helpful. The early bird special also applies to Saturday morning at the same times, but, if history is any indicator, these will be sold out.

Thanks for your reply. I went to HD this morning and looked through their assortment. They have 20 pound bags of Miracle Gro garden soil for roses for $0.99, and 10 pound bags of Scott's Potting Soil also for $0.99. The Scott's has a special plant food in it (I can't remember the name), and it was marked down from $4.99 per bag. It's a really good deal.

I was actually willing to pay the $0.99 for the Scott's 10-lb. bag as opposed to the $0.99 for the 20-lb. bag at Meijer because of the quality of the stuff. So, thanks for the HD heads up.

Incidentally, they just put these $0.99 bags out this morning at our HD (Fairborn, OH), so there's probably still time to buy them. I bought 100 pounds, and it was a little over half the skid.

I thought that was a pretty good deal - being prepared to pay several dollars per bag. This is in the Chicago NW suburbs.
