Nope I am not affiliated with sirus. Personally I like XM much better. I just want others to be aware of this deal in case they were considering getting sirius.

I thought you were affiliated with sirius, because you were like "good evening slickdealers" as if, you were talking from some position with sirius or something. Now that you are not with them, i have nothing against you. I am only against those who are affiliated with a retailer and advertise for free using these forums (especially those who post bad deals). Now that the equipment is there for free, never should anybody signup with equipment charges with any satellite radio, neither xm nor sirius.

what's better? XM or sirius? which is ultimately cheaper (subscription cost wise only)?

XM is about the same price. $10 a month. You save a little bit if you pay like a year in advance.
