For anyone who's wondering, these do contain the U3 software that lets you run programs directly from the USB drive. Unlike most of the U3 drives sold in recent years, these have the new firmware that lets them work with Vista. (as you might expect from the "Ready Boost" compatibility)

The two-gig Titanium model currently being sold on Buy.Com for ~$24 is NOT Vista compatible - you need to buy the $39.95 model that says "Ready Boost" if you want to be able to use the drive with Vista. (or at least if you want to use the U3 features - any U3 drive can be made Vista-compatible by removing the U3 software and partition and just using it as a regular flash drive)

If a SanDisk USB flash drive says "Ready Boost" it's Vista-compatible. If it doesn't, I wouldn't count on it.
