I would say yes - especially by the water. Newborns can't regulate temp well, so if you get a chilly day, it is easier to zip kidlet into this than trying to tuck blankets in around them. Plus, $9.00 is cheaper than most blankets!! And the quality of LL Bean is unmatched. My opinion, of course... |

These are great! I had a pink one for my girls and was sad when they grew out of it .. all LL Bean's kids outwear is so well made and holds up over time ..
