calibration settings that worked best for my samsung panel, the ATI control panel adjustments, and this website as a guide..

Gamma: .85

Brightness 110-115 (113 was the "sweet spot" for me)

Contrast 80 (lowering this really seemed to get all the tests passing with flying colors)

with these settings all the tests pass with fairly good scores... gamma test, black level and white level tests, the "quick contrast" test.

Must say the monitor really looks sweet calibrated with these settings. Cheers!

I got it too, it looks lenovo doesn't like firefox, the reduce price and coupon are only valid in IE.

As a long time T20/T22/T41 user.... I have to say I'm not that happy with widescreen on a T61P I've been using daily for 2 months. I guess widescreen just ruins what I liked about a T.

I got the 1920x1200 display, which is nice, but the thing is just too big and heavy.

UPDATE: There is nothing wrong with quality, just as good as all the other ThinkPad's I've owned. It is just for me that a 15.4" widescreen T just changes the T beyond the 15" widescreen T41 that I had. Maybe I just don't like widescreen 15.4", too big. I would never consider a 17" laptop at all

Anyway, in case any long time users care, there you go.
