OP, you should change the title to reflect that this is the "extreme performance" line.. most people will get that from the PC2 8500...but..

curse my bathroom break, came back to OOS, bah, didnt need it anyway, i currently am sitting on 3 gig unused from other deals, and 4 gig in my xp machine.

status-now currently owes me like 80 bucks in rebates anway. currenly been paied over $60 from them this year

I've done several rebates with Mushkin and never had a problem receiving the rebate in a timely manner. As a matter of fact, they never received one of the rebates I did last spring. I called on the missing rebate and the rep, who was very courteous, had me mail a copy of the rebate and within a month I received the rebate check. I wish all rebate companies dealt with there customers in that manner.
