I actually got an even better deal. For some reason when I add six and go to check out I get an extra $0.25 "Best Value Savings" discount. I have no idea what that is but it brought my total down to $14.72 for six books. Amazon is overpriced on most books I've looked at.
 Just an example...."How the Grinch Stole Christmas" on Amazon is $10.98, whereas as B.A.M. it's only $4.47.  Just a quick heads up if you're looking for Dr.Seuss "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" book Books A Million online has it on sale for $4.47 with frequent buyer card (or $4.97 without the card): http://www.booksamillion.com/ncom...0394800796 Amazon **USED** to be cheaper than BAM but over the past year the tables have been turned. Sucks b/c Amazon used to have the best prices in town& usually dirt cheap. I'm comparing prices on www.booksamillion.com & amazon's list in the link posted above. So far BAM beats Amazon hands down. On Amazon you get the free book with the by 3/4th. free promo but on Amazon the prices are jacked up and you're not really saving any money purchasing from Amazon. With the jacked up prices you're actually blindingly paying for the 4th. book. PooPoo to Amazon! Hey guys, this isn't that great. The 4.99 books you are buying are the smaller beginner books (Bright and Early). Look at the product dimensions. These smaller books have hard cardboard pages. I should know I have a few.
So, it's really at least $9 a book for the normal size books. Before the 4 for 3, of course. |

Personally, I'm sticking with Amazon. I have Prime, and with their B2G1F and the 4-for-3 promotions it's a better deal for me. |
