That config seems to be gone from their site now. I would have preferred an 820, but you could only get the WXGA screen, and I wanted WXGA+. Oh well.

is this better than the dell 1400 vostro deal that was posted a few hours ago? i am still deciding whether to get this 1 or the dell vostro. they are around the same price but this 1 has a bigger screen, but only 1 gb for memory. any insight?

edit:also i don't seem to see a sound option... i dont really care what it is but is there a reason why it is not listing one?

Sound is intergrated on the latitudes, I don't think there's an option for an add in sound solution. Also, don't expect great sound since these are designed for business. Mine (D420) has one tinny sounding speaker.

yeah, except IMHO, there's a big difference in portability between 14" and 15.4"
