Can anyone think of a reason this item ships so late... If it shipped now then I would pull the trigger. I'm just a little confused.

I don't like the all sales are final part, but it's an extra 10 percent off. I don't have much experience with JCrew, but everything is imported so probably china. I suspect it's BR level quality. It's funny how they describe the cashmere for the sweater as from "an world-renowned mill in italy". By not naming the mill, they didn't add any appeal to the typical "woven in italy" thing.

BR doesn't typically do China though... BR (and I would assume J.Crew) tends to not use China because when people think of China, they think of cheap, not quality. A lot of BR items are from Sri Lanka, Italy, India, etc.

Iono, the prices are pretty nice for J. Crew with 30% off... Wish they had more items though.

I don't know. What size did you put into the basket? Not getting it myself, but when I add into cart for s, l , xl- all in stock.

As for BR stuff, 3 of 4 items I got were made in china. The other was made in morocco of africa. All from their monogram line or whatever. I know this is the trend, but with BR either they lower their price or improve their quality before I will buy again if they be all made in these countries. Polo made in china is different than BR made in china (of course the price too). On the other hand, if I can buy 57 BR T-shirt for 200 bucks...hehe, I will do it in a heart beat.

The Holmes one? There's two types of cord jackets. I'm getting size L and it says expected to ship 3/14...

I have two shirts made in Mauritis, one made in China. Full-zip hooded sweatshirt and long-sleeve shirt also from China. Jeans and knit-boxers from Canada. The wide-whale vintage cords and a pair of pants from Macau. Chinos and another pair of pants from Hong Kong. A t-shirt from Cambodia.

They get around.

I only have a scarf that was made in China in terms of BR stuff and I have a hell of a lot lol.

Question though: Does J. Crew add items during promotions? The sports coat I was going for is sold out.
