Not Bad for $399.99 but the only things that aren't great. the processor is the lowest grade in the "tyler 65nm'' does not support Virtualization Technology. The battery is small at 4 cell (1-2 hours) but other than that, its great for a person who wants the convenience of a laptop and regular standard uses, email,internet, word processing, etc. not a gamer or photoshop. Watching a dvd might have some delay

Watching a DVD might have some delay? Really? So a PC from 1998-2001 could ok, but this one will have some delay? uh... no. Now thanks to windows Vista the whole SYSTEM will have random intermittent disk activity just because Vista pwns j00. Only downsides I see is no option to change from windows vista and the pultry 4-cell battery. ps- this laptop could play games pre-2005. But no winxp home option really kills it. |

I can't believe people are taking the time to trash this deal.
Doesn't support virtualization.  This class of machine was not meant for gaming or encoding video. It is perfect for the family member that would like to browse the web, watch a DVD and work on a PowerPoint presentation. My sister picked one a little while ago and I will tell the neighbor about it. I will trash Vista and load XP Pro on it. TU and REPs for you OP! UPDATE: FRONT PAGE!

In for 1, hope this lappie does not SUCK big time. $399 for a 1G, AMD x2, DVD writer, free shipping; sucks that I have to pay sales taxes (so my idiot local govt officials can waste more money on these idiot round abouts - accidents waiting to happen) I've been waiting for a lappie (i meant girl) like you!!!!!! |
