Big Lots is having a Friends and Family night on Sunday 2/24/08, where you can save 20% off of your total purchase.

I got this coupon yesterday from the store manager after purchasing a mattress/foundation set. The coupon says that the hours are from 6 PM to 9 PM (or until 10 PM for stores that close at 7 or 8PM), but he said that they would honor the coupon for the entire day.

I scanned an image of it. It is just a regular plain white coupon on regular paper, nothing fancy. It seems to be almost the same as the coupon posted from 7/07 of last year here at SD, but without the barcode.

It's always safe to see if this a YMMV, but if it is nationwide, maybe someone could find a nice deal! I don't get a chance to find too many posts, so please don't TC if you don't like Big Lots. Hope it works!

EDIT/UPDATE 2/23/08:
I called the store manager of my local Big Lots, and asked them if you could use the coupon if you bought something Sunday with the coupon and put it on layaway. She had told me that it was not a problem. (I am looking for furniture, and my taxes should be in next week.) This also might be a bonus for those who might be looking for something a bit more expensive, but dont have the funds right now. I am not sure how Big Lots layaway plan works, but it's could be worth a shot to give your store manager a call! Best of luck!
