I use this as my desktop mouse. Love it. Bought it a few months ago and still going on the battery that came with it. I use it heavily too.

The main reasons I bought it are it's size - nice and small compared to the MX Revolution. I really hated the MX's design and huge "clunkiness" of it. Last but not least, the fact that the mouse uses 1 - AA battery and it's a battery I can go buy off the shelf. I also use rechargable's which make it even sweeter. I got tired of Logitech's proprietary batteries that seemed to only last a few months before their charge capacities diminished.

Anyways, this is an excellent mouse. The USB receiver is SUPER small. Stores in the mouse if you need to travel. I have mine plugged into the back of my monitor (Dell 2407 WFP-HC). So it takes up no space and it's out of sight!

Also, it has all the buttons you could possibly want!
