CVS will price match Target and Wal-Mart on the $4.00 generic prescription plan. YMMV
I went to CVS to have my new prescriptions filled today to receive the $25.00 GC. I asked if they would ever be going to the $4.00 prescription plan that Target and Wal-Mart offer. The pharmacist told me if the medicine is on the Target/Wal-Mart list they will price match it.
My copay is $10.00 on each prescription. So this will save me $12.00 each month on the 2 prescriptions that are on the list.
He said he didn't understand why they didn't do the same program since they price match Target/Wal-Mart.
Maybe that's in the works down the road.
Hopefully this will save some of you money each month.
YMMV...but it never hurts to ask.
