I would stay clear of these.
Reason according to this post:
(overclocking-related)Apparently a large proportion of them are having to be RMAd, or DOA. In addition, they are using a ...decrepit?...technology.
From TidalWaveOne: Don't simply assume failures are due to overclocking. I did not overclock mine and had to RMA 4 or 5 sets in the last year or two.

 I've read that they start to fry at 2.2 volts.I've heard that these Ballistix don't use the same chips that they used to, so old benchmarks and reviews might not apply. They were certainly nice when I had a pair last year, though. |
