awesome deal. my friend's been looking for this to come down, was only expecting like 12.99 after rebate at best.

i've been using one of these for years. it works well for my dell inspiron. not so well for some other notebooks. i used a program called mobmeter to compare the differences in temperature.
these are often pretty cheap AR. good deal tho.

I have this also (FAR with GC).

I can't vouch for the exact temperatures.

What I can tell you is:
1. It's quiet.
2. It does keep the laptop cooler (I can feel the transference to my hands).
3. The best part is your crotch stays cool! I work hours on end with my laptop on my lap!

FYI, The ventilation is subtle (2-speed). Also you have to see where the intake and exhaust placement is compared on the cooler vs your game console. If they don't match up... you will not get the circulation you're looking for.

I'm sure they have game console coolers. You've got a pricey machine; I wouldn't skimp.

In for my second one, for $6 this is a great buy as it does actually keep my notebook cooler.
