 Sprint accounts have security flaw - easy to hack into someone's account Flawed Security Lets Sprint Accounts Get Easily Hijacked http://consumerist.com/376845/fla...y-hijacked We tried it on a co-worker's Sprint # and got access to their account in about 5 minutes. It takes a little bit of knowledge about the account holder, but really this was far too simple. Scary. |

I've seen that supposed "identity protection" product on other websites, so I am guessing it's not just Sprint who will have this issue.

I love the cheapness of my SERO. But Jebus. The CS is like talking to a whole room of Pakistani's at once and speaking pig latin to them in order to try to straighten out an issue that you have.

I just paid our cell phone bill this morning with my debit card. This seemed pretty security flawish, as the account is soley in my mother's name, i typed in my debit card number and it went through as debit (instead of credit) without so much as giving the name on the card, any type of PIN or CCV, etc. Literally, I typed in the amount to pay and the 16 digits off my card and it went through.
