LG VX8700 cell phone for Verizon FREE + $10 shipping at Best Buy with plan or upgrade
At Best Buy, you can get the LG VX8700 free (plus $9.99 shipping) for new Verizon Wireless plans. If you are upgrading your phone, it will cost $49.99 plus $9.99 shipping and sales tax.
If you go to this link [bestbuy.com] you can choose VerizonWireless in the left navigation bar. Scroll to the lower right corner of the page and select Shop Now to see all Verizon Wireless phones. The LG VX8700 will be there. It was right at the top when I last looked
If you are upgrading, from that screen choose the box under the top navigation bar that tells you to Click Here to upgrade your phone. You then need to choose Verizon Wireless and click that you are, after all, eligible to upgrade. Then you will get a list of phones and the LG VX8700 will be about a third of the way down.
Another way to get to the upgrades is to choose "upgrades" from the top blue nav bar.
I realize that I am going on and on about this, but we found it a little difficult to get to the screen where we were able to choose the $50 upgrade option.
This is by far the best price my son and I found. At the VerizonWireless website, it is about $150. I think it's more in the store. With a new plan on Amazon it is $10 after a mail-in rebate, which I guess is the same because of the $10 shipping at Best Buy, but you do have to send in the rebate.
