Be careful about the rebate. The model number is 2600XT256PESB on rebate form, NOT 2600XT256PE3SB.

it may be noisy as claimed by Newegg reviews, but you can't beat it for $14 AR.
Thx for great deal. Rep!

It's now $82.24 when adding to cart, so the final price is $7.24 for whoever has the $25 coupon. What a deal!

2600XT256PESB 2600XT256PE3SB<--- this is allegedly what buy.com is selling. on diamond's website there are 2600XT256PE3 [diamondmm.com] 2600XT256PE [diamondmm.com] neither of which match the above two (though they correspond well if you drop the "SB"). The first is a DDR3 with two DVI, the second DDR2 with one DVI, and a VGA, I believe. I am only talking about the 256MB models here. I sent a note over to customer service at Diamond, we'll see what comes back. As far as being worried about the rebate, I wouldn't be too concerned. The rebate info is on the page with the video card. I went to diamond's rebate center [diamondmm.com] and was able to print out a "automated rebate form" using all my information and the model # and the UPC code given out in the rebate info pdf on buy.com's site, which is 757448005448. If you look at a zzf rebate [zipzoomfly.com] for the same product, you'll notice that 2600XT256PE3SB has the same UPC code as 2600XT256PESB, so it should fly through no problem. The only concern is which item is actually being shipped. Buy.com indicates it is the DDR3 version with two DVI, so that is what I would expect, given that I can find no official documentation for part # 2600XT256PE3SB (or UPC code 757448005448). At $7 AR, it wouldn't be a problem either way in my mind. |

Gotta ask -- is this rebate reliable and how about rebate speed?
