My laptop died a while back and I'm finishing up selling all the parts from it. However, I sold the LCD screen a couple weeks ago on ebay, but had a problem with the buyer. I advertised it as a 15.4" WUXGA, which I still believe is what it is. However, he tells me that it is an WSXGA screen instead. I sent him his money back and got the item in the same condition I sent it in. There is a small tag on the plug attached to the LCD that has the following numbers:
A35AOA93R (under the case next to the bar code).
ADQ00 15.4" UXGA
P/N: DC025040800
Apr.14. 2003

Can anyone help me correctly identify my screen so I can list it on ebay? I put the auction back up with pictures: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI....RK:MESE:IT
Any ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated!

I sent the guy who bought the screen initially an email asking him if he knew anything about the tag on the cable and this is what he said:

"No I didnt notice the tag, however those LCD cables are interchangeable with all the resolutions. I plugged it in and in the BIOS it was reported as WSXGA. You can dissasemble the screen cover and remove the LCD screen itself and look on the back of the screen for positive ID as it will be written on the back of the screen."

I'm going to take it apart when I get home to clarify. Any more comments would be cool!

I think you would be correct that it is a 15.4" WUXGA

His email sounded pretty convincing though since he did plug it in and the BIOS said it was an SXGA display.

Its a WUXGA

I'll find out when I get home and post on here the results.

If it is an UltraSharp (WUXGA), the native resolution will be 1680x1050.
