Quick GH3 FAQ:
Wii Version:
Older Amazon reviews may be bad for the Wii version because the original version was mono sound only - Activision later fixed this problem and offered replacement disks. These should be the updated disks with full surround sound.
XBox360 Version:
NOT All guitars work on GH3 on the 360 - Wired GH2 guitar (works), Wired Rockband Guitar (does NOT work but does work on GH2)
All guitars work on Rockband on the 360 - Wireless GH3 guitar, Wired GH2 guitar
PS3 Version:
Activision and MTVGames (Harmonix) whining at each other lead to proprietary driver conflicts. No guitars work with either system - so to play 2 player Guitar Hero or Rockband, you need 4 guitars - two for Guitar Hero by Activision and two for Rockband by Harmonix.
Random Info:
Both Activision and Konami are coming out with more "Rock star" type of games. Guitar Hero 4 appears to have both a microphone and drum set component. Konami's Rock Revolution has so far only showcased a new drum set. Since all the drum sets look completely different from each other; everyone is assuming none of them work together.
Wii console is also available at Amazon for $250 [amazon.com] as of 10:00am Never mind. Sold OUT!
