nice deal, i need one like this, I hope they come out with the 2.8 Duo processor again for around $629, very tempting but i would be mad if they came out with the 2.8 Duo deal again, or something like that. I need to see if Dell finally gave me tax exemption for purchases for my business

the DVD burner would be nice, but it is a 16x for $15. it is possible to get a 20x for about $25 and use the stock dvd player for something else, and have 2 dvd roms for $25 That is how i would configure it, 2 for $25

what are your thoughts on the $629 deal with two 22" monitors? I know that slim tower deal was outstanding,how long did that deal last? for personal use i would prefer a larger tower for normal size video cards n such.

I believe that was the one. The 22 inch E228WFP sells on fleabay for $ 225 average, making this deal reasonable, but not the best. Also, i personally would go for a C2D processor instead of C2Q and save some $$$. There are not that many applications we use would require a quad processor.
