its an OK deal,for resale this deal is not great. the Quad core, 22" upgrade and the free DVD-RW upgrades were already part of the 410 package. This would be nice if we can get 4% DPA and a $200 coupon, making it near $700 total with the 250GB HD.

Sorry, but not front page

The Inspriron 530 Quad core with 24" LCD for $612 was a much better deal.

Shouldn't be a problem physically or electrically, the only thing you may want to worry about is power supply, but that's also the case with 530. I believe, when you choose a quad with any of dell's desktops, you get a slightly more powerful PSU as well. The only way to know for sure if a 4850 would work, is to try, and be ready to have the PSU replaced, if it's too weak.
