Viewing BCC in GMAIL From an Email Sent TO You???
So I got a mass email and the sender sent it to all recipients with BCC. I am wondering if there is a way to view all the recipients of the email? Some sort of way around it in gmail? I tried clicking "show details", but it only reveals my email address. Is there any way at all to see the other recipients of the email?

Yes, I realize it's blind carbon copy and what it's for. However, there was a glitch in outlook a few years ago that allowed you to view recipients. There was one with yahoo as well. Was wondering if there was such a thing with gmail.

Truthfully, I'm trying to find somebody's email address. I figure it's the easiest way to get into contact with them. Too bad there's not a white pages for email addresses. *sigh*

I googled their name already. Found address and such, but would rather email.

It's not just a Google thing, it's an email thing. Recipients are not supposed to be able to see any addresses in the BCC line - only the sender when looking at the copy in their sent items folder.
I never heard about any glitch in Yahoo or Outlook allowing recipients to see people in the BCC line - do you have any links? |

it's not really email thing, but mail server settings thing, so it's plausible a malfunction would disclose bcc...

The long and short of it is that you will not know BCC recipients. Such information is not hidden or encrypted or any some such and is not sent to you at all. It is not anywhere that you can easily access. That is to say, you either need to have access to the sender's computer, the e-mail server from which the e-mail originated...or just ask the sender.

no, you will not be able to see BCC's... ask the sender to tell you...
