Hmm.. so Seagate came out with its own 2 platter 640GB with 32MB cache. I would love to see benchies of this drive going head to head with the famous WD6400AAKS though. It seems that the WD has faster average throughput (>100MB/s?) eventhough it only has 16MB cache.

Do people read posts at all? Anyone wanna bet if anyone else will ask how it compares to WD???  Having a mod post a hot deal does not automatically mean it's a fp deal. We still need a decent response from the community and it has to go through the same process as every other hot deal. |
