Frankly, since it became available from PC Richard a few months ago at this price, I don't recall it NOT being $50, only occasionally being OOS.

So nice deal, but let's face it, this thing has hit the $50 mark so often, it's basically the base price for all but the most naive. At this point, it probably just comes down to which retailer helps you avoid sales tax.

I think most people prefer Amazon, especially the prime members. I ordered one from PCRetards and they required a signature. Which of course they didn't get because I missed the UPS guy all 3 days.

A month after it was returned the charge was not credited back to my card so I had to call and wait on hold to request a refund AND I had to call again a month after that because PCRetards had still not credited me after I called the 1st time. So that will be my last deal with them.

I bought this remote a couple of months back and while the interface is awesome and the programming is fantastic, I'm really beginning to HATE it. It NEVER remembers the right functions and I have to press "Help" every single time I want to turn on the tv or do something. It doesn't turn the tv on until the 3rd attempt and it doesn't remember the correct input either. Is anyone else having these problems, or did I get a dud?

Last time Amazon had these, I ordered one and there was a shipping issue, it went back to Amazon but they would not ship it back to me, they just canceled the order and gave me a refund. So I emailed them to see if I could buy one at the original $50 price and they said no but I got a $15 coupon for anything at Amazon. So now I just bought it for $35.

No, it will not work with the PS3. The PS3 does not have an IR receiver.

Also, to those with problems like it not turning off the TV right away.....it might be possible that you have the wrong code for your TV. Some manufacturers use multiple different codes that are close in signal. Some are close enough that if you hit the button like 3 times, it by chance might work...but other times it doesn't. If it seems that it's randomly working and randomly not for no reason, you might want to try a different remote code for that manufacturer. I had that problem with another remote before....it would turn off the TV but only if I hit the power button several times. I changed the code and then it worked on the first press every time....
