Antec 430W Trio (better series) had been seen for $10 AR.

Personally I think the Earthwatts series is just rebadged generic powersupply. I've ordered 40 of the 500W and so far after a month, I've had 2 of them giving me random reboot. 2 out 40 failing after a month is unacceptable quality. Usually pont to crappy capacitors. I wonder if more will die after a year? Maybe I just got a bad badge of power supplies.

But if you need a power supply now, then this deal is ok. But you've been warned.

And as usually, Antec rebates will take 5-6 months.

Earthwatts are based of another generic power supply yes. As most are..
They are seasonics though. Most people I recommend these PSU's to when they build new computers haven't had any problems. Most people on hardforum don't really have problems either.

But I don't know if I would go as far as to say the Trio is a better series. I'm no anand or Johnnyguru though.

A decent power supply with good energy saving. But I am not so sure it worth the 30+ dollars.

1) if your computer does not run that hot for long, the saving is not that much in electrical bills.
2) I have seen Antec failed within months
3) Rebate from Antec is forever as I heard.

I personally now prefer power supply with active PFC and cheap like 10 -15 bucks after rebates, and company that send checks fast. OCZ is for one.

id go for the 650W Version for $70. more the better imo. but for most video cards, you would need minimum of 450.. and 430 wouldnt be supporting it.
