Way awesome deal!!!! I recently purchased a low grade "beginner" cutlery set like this one, different brand, from Target and paid a litle more than this price and they are already dull and the supposed "stainless steel" isn't so.
Henckels has a good reputation and I can't wait to pick these up tomorrow, especially that chef's knife. Thanks OP! |

Wow those reviews are so bad I'm probably going to stay away even at this price.
The best deal I ever got on knives was when I was a college sophmore, and it must have been my first time ever shopping by myself at Walmart (I'm from NYC so we didn't have Walmarts back home). I asked for knives and the Walmart clerk was pretty cool and showed me the one last set of farberware knives they had on clearance for like $2.50. Not fancy knives but for $2.50 I'm still very happy, lol. |

aiite, ordered one, now hoping that they are made in Spain, Not China forged from German Steel bla bla bla. And if they are made in Germany, that would be even better than what I am hoping for.

Most of those reviewers are idiots. You should never, ever put a knife in your dishwasher, even if it has one of those special places for them. I hate when people complain that something doesn't work properly because they can't take 10 seconds to take proper care of it. Obviously, these aren't going to be as good as a $100+ knife, but I haven't seen better for 6 bucks.
