Looks like they're not going to be outdone by anyone on opening time. First round of doorbusters start at midnight and the second round at 5. Reminds me of those wacky Kohls sales.

First part is doorbusters.
Second is weekend sale.

All in one here [rapidshare.com]

Enjoy :)

Thanks for posting. So glad I got rocky the robot truck at Meijer this week for $36. I'm not seeing anything jumping out. A few games I can PM else where thats about it.

flee 11-14-2009 05:12 PM

That might be your ipod touch winner right there, $50 off $300 for the 32gb.

depressedmonkey 11-14-2009 05:23 PM

wow, just horrible. This may be the worst BF ad i have ever seen. Discounts on horrible games. I CARLY!? really TRU? thanks 905K, you did it again. I just wish these ads didn't disappoint this much

DHowdy 11-14-2009 05:29 PM

Forza 3 for $35 :)

Anyone with experience on Target BF think that will be online too?

yuugotserved 11-14-2009 05:35 PM

lol I can imagine no one camping out in front of Toys R Us stores.

chooseausername 11-14-2009 05:43 PM

Thumbs up for posting the ads, but really tru? Really? Looks like walmart with their partial ad is the only worthwhile b&m store this Black Friday.

WBBell 11-14-2009 05:48 PM

There are a handful of good deal in here if you are looking for toys or kid gifts. For instance the Pixos set for $19.99 is very hot.

But nothing in here making me want to get there at midnight (?!) Yikes!

Ad doesn't make sense. Store opening at midnight on Thursday means they are open Thanksgiving day. I'm assuming they mean midnight Friday?

Yes, they mean 12 a.m. Friday morning.

JennyAbby 11-14-2009 06:46 PM

Thanks! That Magnext iCoaster looks really fun. I'm not seeing any must haves for the kids though. Bummer.

In2why 11-14-2009 06:48 PM

I LOVE that they are beginning at midnight....I can price match at my all night Walmart lol...while I hopefully wait for something worthy of BF.

Does Walmart price match on BF prices at other stores?

I'm looking to get the $7 Barbie Musketeer dolls ($20 at Target) and the Disney Princess Vanity for $24. My daughter will flip!

$10 bux for the XBOX Guitar Hero guitar isn't bad. Neither is the $80 train table that comes with $80 train set for FREE.

Yes they do. Went in their last year w/5 ads in hand & price matched them all! I'm liking the Leapster 2 myself.

bestfreesurveys 11-14-2009 07:30 PM

Thanks for posting. Nothing really catching my eye :(

CuppyCakex 11-14-2009 07:37 PM

Sorry I didn't know it was a repost

centrifuge41 11-14-2009 07:40 PM

I see a handful of worthy things. The $199 iPod Touch - $50 gift card is good.

And the $10 wired guitar Xplorer is good (note, same price available as of this writing, link [toysrus.com]). This same guitar was available from Toys R Us for $8 once, and that guitar + Aerosmith for X360 was available for $10 once from Gamestop. Then again, we haven't had a USB guitar for this cheap for a long time.

Iyla1234 11-14-2009 07:44 PM

The BOGO on Earth's Best baby food is a good deal. :look:

Maybe I read it wrong but I thought the ad was for Leapster rather than Leapter 2.

shamrocks2you 11-14-2009 07:47 PM

Thanks OP - too bad no $10 BrU diaper boxes. We've stocked up the last two BFs...

Yep, I was gonna say the same. Don't see too many baby toys, so nithing really for my kid. I was looking at the Clipo but I think at 13 months he's still too little, just gonna put the pieces in his mouth

dz5003 11-14-2009 07:58 PM

Well, I guess I'll be at TRU at Midnight to get that d@mn horse! LOL - DD will LOVE it!

I'm actually glad they open at midnight! I can get my TRU door busters there - then head to Walmart and be pretty much done!

Thats exactly what I was waiting for & nothing this year. Last year & the last I got like 10 or 12 cases.

Saranndippity 11-14-2009 08:54 PM

So I might get the Fisher price diapers, and then I really need a humidifier, so the cow shaped one for $20 isnt bad either. I have gift cards left over from when I returned stuff from my baby shower.

It's not bad if you're looking for toys - games/movies I'll just get @ WM. Plus, the midnight opening solves the issue (at least for me) of whether I was going to stand in line @ Target or TRU. With all the a** crack of dawn opening times, I'll be getting home just as my kids are getting up :D

pohto9 11-15-2009 07:01 AM

Does anyone know if any of these doorbusters will be online too? We had a Toys R Us in our city until last year when it closed. We still get the ads in the paper, but the closest store is like an hour and a half away so Walmart won't PM. I really don't want to drive that far, guess I will wait for the Walmart ad to come out first.

Beachkingdeals 11-15-2009 08:41 AM

Not sure about online....better be at stores that too before time!

mjedy14611 11-15-2009 09:34 AM

The USA Weekend insert in my Sunday paper had a buy one get one free coupon for Hasbro card games and they are on sale bogo on Black Friday. This is has the potential to be a very slickdeal if your TRU accepts coupons. Mine does, I was able to use the $5 off $20 My little pony printable coupon last month.

Matt Awesome 11-15-2009 09:45 AM

the iPod touch with $50 GC is pretty sweet. Wonder if I'd be able to use the GC immediately? The Star Wars items are all a good deal. My son wants loves the Lego's.

Thanks again OP.

Brandilla 11-15-2009 10:05 AM

I'm excited aboutt he $5 boxes of baby wipes and the $10 Elmo tent. Though I went to buy it at Kmart ($21) and they said it was recalled.... So hopefully they have a different one.

shellylay81 11-15-2009 10:55 AM

Good idea about PM'ing Toys R Us while waiting for Walmart doorbusters!! I didn't even think about that. I can get to Walmart at 12 am w/ Toysrus ad, shop.. be done at 2, go online and use my giftcard at Toysrus.com and then go back to walmart at 430 to shop again.

Westen 11-15-2009 11:25 AM

Some of things in the ad are already on sale. I got the 2 Toy Story figurines for $14 yesterday. There were a couple of other things in the ad I recall seeing on sale yesterday.

Plus my TRU changed the layout of the store and moved things around. I found myself going in circles trying to find things. If you haven't been in the store in a while it might be a good idea to scope things out prior to BF.

  • Namco Museum: Virtual Arcade - $20

Quick question.

Does anyone know if the chair/sofas for 50% off are pnly going to be that price at BRU or if TRU will also be having them that low?

Our TRU is 40 minutes away and our BRU is an hour and a half a way. Obviously I'd like to go to TRU! :)

Thanks!

ugagirl76 11-16-2009 09:15 PM

I really want the Leapster. Any idea what time I need to show up? Could I just go at midnight and likely get it?

pheenix11 11-17-2009 12:13 AM

There is a toy for my little 7 month old boy that we have been looking at, it's 40% off which is pretty good in my book. It says it is part of the Friday & Saturday sale, not a doorbuster, but I can still get it at midnight if I want right?

I like being in the middle of it LOL

chimpsanddimp 11-17-2009 06:23 AM

PM question: Since I'll be at WM anyway, I'd love to PM the Leapster, as it's the only doorbuster I'm really interested in. How do I know the exact sku, so I can check it against the one at WM?

it usually takes about 6 hours for the gift cards to activate when you get them free with a purchase.

The fisher price happy days & nights diapers are 2 for $10 well there's a IP http://www.fisher-price.com/fp.as...0&e=offers for $2 off so that would make them $3 per pack!!! HTH

Word up, Shamrocks! That was our BF deal the last 2 years. It's the only reason my wife and I have even gone out the past couple of years. Other BF shopping was incidental since I was already out that early. Will miss the Especially for Babies $10 box deal tremendously! I haven't even told my wife yet. She's going to be none too pleased, especially since we have a 2 week old at home.

I am pretty sure those ARE the Leapsters, not the L2s. The L2s regular price is $59.99. I got 3 of them for $90 in the b2g1 LeapFrog Promo they had in September, that stacked w/ the $10 MQ on each one.

$60x3= $180-1 free=$120- MQ $10x3= $90. I don't think I'm going to beat that anywhere, but I have my receipt just in case, lol!!

Husband and I have a game plan. We're going to get a sitter Thursday night and go at midnight and split up. One of us gets the ipod and the other the horse. We'll buy the ipod and get the gift card and then use it on the horse, lol.

How early do you suppose we should go line up?

The gift cards take awhile before they are activated. I have heard sometimes 6 hours or more.

Seriously? That is all kinds of not fair. I will have to call my TRU and ask ahead of time. Dang.

lirpaloo 11-21-2009 06:24 PM

Last year I seem to remember being able to get Black Friday prices on Thanksgiving from TRU online. I know I ordered a few things for my grandma on Thanksgiving Day (for her to give to the great grandkids). I wonder if they'll open this up early online again or not. Can't remember when I found out about it last year ... might have not known until Thanksgiving Day.

But like a few others ... I perused the TRU BF ad and was not impressed. Not even any toys that my son is interested in on that list. I bought alot of stuff from TRU last year ... but not looking that way this year.

claddaghmom 11-22-2009 12:22 AM

in for the mp3, diapers, wii nerf n strike, car ball toy, baby food and wii fit acc.

Squikler 11-22-2009 08:24 PM

TRU has some of their BF items online already, but not many. Maybe they'll be adding more as the week goes on?

Personally, I'm trying to get some of the Thomas 2-packs (amongst other things.) They keep going OOS online, though. Grr... If I can avoid having to go to TRU on Thur, I can get a little sleep before hitting WM in the early morning, and maybe we WILL get our tree up and decorated after all! We'll see...

Kudrah 11-22-2009 09:52 PM

Walmart will not price adjust on doorbusters or actually any black friday ads. They had it printed on the ad last year that the prices are not good on prior purchases. Toys R Us would not let me price adjust on some things last year, don't know if it is in their policy now, so I rebought the items and returned them with my receipt. I thought it was a hassle for a few bucks but if the item is greatly reduced, I will do it. If it is an item that may sell out and you might not get it before Christmas, I would not risk waiting for a sale.

OkieLora 11-26-2009 02:35 PM

As far as I can tell they should. If you click on the items from the flyer it appears as though they will, but who knows. I will be checking on and off starting at 10pm. I just wish I knew what time zone they would be going off.

If I can't do that I may have to go out and get them.

It looks really hit or miss. No Doorbusters and only hit or miss on the 2 day sale. Like the idogs are $4.99 but the Acoustic Guitar is still $19.99.

None of the items I wanted, doorbuster or not, are marked down online. Guess I am heading to the store. Fortunately I am in CST so I have time to get there.

coupon for tru

I am online ordering the items that I wanted without having to wait outside with 4,000 people. You wouldn't believe the line here in Dayton. I went home, used PPBLACK and got 10 bucks off, which cut my shipping down to 12 total. Well worth not standing in line, and still getting 50% off all the items I wanted.

PPBLACK $10 off of $50

Also chose bill me later for another $10 off. That made shipping $2 and tax was $6 and change.

falstaff 11-26-2009 10:49 PM

Some of the ad prices are online some not. I just got the Nerf N-Strike Wii game for the 14.00 it was advertised as. However, the price fluctuated 3 times while it wa sin my cart. First it was 29.99, then 14.99, then 29.99 again, then back to 14.99. TRU if you're gonna do the ad prices onlie just do them don't screw around please. Also, the Nerf gun in the ad for 14.99 has been solid at 24.99. At that price it's cheaper to get it from hasbrotoyshop.com with an extra tactical light and darts for the same price using FAMILY2009 to get 20% off. Boooo TRU, Booooo.

BoredMom 11-26-2009 10:58 PM

This site is driving me insane. It's ridiculous! They tell you to shop the doorbusters and BF stuff and half of it's not available, half of it's the wrong price...just give me a freaking time when you'll have the stuff up right.

<UPDATE> Just went back and checked again. Recon Nerf gun and Wii game are now both correctly at 14.99. Annoying though since I'd already given up on the gun and had gotten the game when I had the chance. now I have 2 seperate orders and paid about 2 bucks too much on shipping since I'd used a gift card to pay and didn't want to wait to get credited back. My impatience, but their stupidity. And honestly their loss because if I'd gotten them together I probably would have bought something else to get hit the free shipping threshold.

Yeah, sucks that everything did not go on sale at the same time. But I did end up getting the wii game as well and that is what I wanted most.

Hi there, I just got back from my TRU. :omg: LOL what a joke.

Anyways, of course this only applies to me but FWIW by the time we got into the store there were no more v-tech laptops. So if it's important to you, by all means go for it.

We didn't buy anything though. Just wandered around a bit and laughed at people. The employees were lucky they hadn't been attacked...they messed up and directed people the wrong way...so basically people were standing in lines wrapping through the aisles, only to get to the end and find out they couldn't checkout. Very strange. Some people started throwing punches by the time we fought our way back to the door to leave.

kasak 11-27-2009 12:37 AM

If i order 14.99 vtech laptop and bolt blu ray (29.99) and dvd (9.99) ; total is 54.97 + $9 shipping+ tax - $10 off $50 (PPBLACK) to offset shipping, can I return the bolt discs at store and keep the laptop? When returning will they remove the $10 off $50 coupon? picked bold movie discs as their shipping is low (of the $9 shipping laptop shipping is $7.x)

I had some bad experience from Toysrus on BF around 10 years ago. Since then I did not go before they open the door until this year. The line was quite long that took me 15min after door opening to get into the store. This is far from the worst part. I was looking for the Littlest Pep Shop VIP which should be up for the 2 day sale. I should say I am lucky to find a couple buried in a shelf of stuff animal which is not the place for it. My wife went to the aisle where it should be at and found nothing left. The worse part is that hundreds of people stuck in the store and no one know where is the check out line. Not even the sales person. The line was actually just being formed with guidance by one sales person, but people just kept cutting in. Wasted another 20min because of the people forming a diverged line, then another 20min to wait in line for check out. At the cashier, one of the 2 Littlest Pet Shop VIP did not ring up the sales price. Took another 5min at the cashier for them to solve the problem which they had no clue to begin with. Spent 1.5 hour in the store for only 2 little stuff animal. This would definitely be the last time to do BF shopping at Toysrus.

amberleec 11-27-2009 09:42 AM

Our toys r us was very well organized. They had taped down arrows on the floor and one dedicated sales person to direct the line incase anyone was lost. The line did wrap around , but only stood in line for about 10 minutes. They had ALL registers going as well as customer service. I was VERY impressed as last year was a living HELL! This is the first year I got EVERYTHING on my list at all stores.

Brave soul. I never go to Toys R Us on black friday that early. We did manage to make it there later today around 10 am and there were some doorbusters left but nothing I want to buy. We really only went to check out the electric guitar package and it was just too cheaply made to buy even for my 11 year old. This year I did better before black friday on the deals, go figure.
