Hi guys,

I just got an email from Sephora today, the title of the email is " Inside: $15 to spend in store" :woot: and in the email it was 2 bar code with one is the BI card, and the other one is a bar code for the gift card. It was $15 for $35 purchase. Better watch out the the email from SEPHORA if you are one of the beauty insider. I would like to share the link of the email here if it is not contained the gift card code and everything. It said one time use only. Sorry guys

I didnt get mine yet. I called Sephora and they said they are still sending them out now. They arent sure what order they are being sent in because it is an automated system however they are sending approximately 5,000 every hour from now through December 14th, 2009

I have only one Sephora store in my area and it is inside JCPenney's. Sometimes you can use them there , some times you can't. I may try if I go to the mall today.

Please don't do this, or if you're going to use non-cosmetic items as your filler. Unlike clothes or other merchandise any cosmetics that are returned must be destroyed. It's very wasteful.

i just now used mine in combination w/the free shipping code and i didn't have to spend $35.00. I bought the Marc Jacobs Daisy Rollerball for 20.00...used the free shipping code, tax was 1.00 (total 21.00) and it took my 15.00 and only charged my cc 6.00...this is awesome..i'm so glad i came on here and checked before i used mine. i would have bought 35.00 worth of stuff i didn't need.

So angry! Still no email, still no $20 VIB coupon. Only a $15 off $50 in snail mail. I've spent over $600 at Sephora in the past two months.

I'm a VIB as well...and still nothing...no mail or email. I've tried calling the VIB hotline and they keep telling me to "give it one more day." GRRR.

I've worked in stores that sold cosmetics and unopened ones were not thrown out. I recently exchanged some makeup and after helping me find what I need the clerk put what I was returning back on the shelf.

Danget...I just bought a 3.4oz bottle of perfume for $62 after $15 off coupon, and just found the same perfume on another online perfume store for like $40 total! So, I wasted my coupon :(

That totally sucks! :vomit: Call and see if you can cancel the order and then reuse the "gift card" that they sent you since it's not "technically" a coupon?

Their computer system makes no difference between that particular $15 discount and a giftcard, which is why it's entered in the GC field when you check out. If you return the items, you'll get a $15 giftcard back and the rest of the charges credited to your credit card :) I did that last year and it worked

I was really surprised to see Sephora send out $15/$20 off $35 codes, I've never received a money-off code before, and I've been a Beauty Insider since the program started.

I was deciding what to get for myself, when I read an email last night from Sephora which stated some items shipped free (no need to make the $50 minimum.) Well that put a whole 'nother spin on the matter, whereby using the code would allow me to cross someone off my Christmas list. So I purchased the Stila Holiday gift set for my best friend, had it giftwrapped, and sent to her directly.

I also combined it with the Bing Cashback (which was 10% at the time) and got $3.80 back. Thanks to Sephora for giving me the ability to send a really nice gift to my friend in an economical fashion.
