I bought Infamous for $26 from Gamestaq. It's pretty repetitive and can get boring at times. But still rather fun to electrocute pedestrians!

The used game I got looks like it was knawed on and used as a coaster. Of course no manual and the case is beat up as well. Likely an abberation, but kinda pissed off.

I was still into it on my 3rd playthrough.

The 7 items I purchased from them were all in immaculate condition,
but I guess that's one of the things about buying used, you never know.

I just received the items I bought last week and they all look brand new. In fact one game is brand new though I bought used. lol. they are perfect. I have no complaints.

I hope you guys can find a great deal here, but I ordered from this seller on amazon and the service was horrible. The toys looked like they were packaged by my seven year old while he was watching spongebob.

I emailed them twice and they never responded...

Their site is organized really badly (can't check past order details, the list books very weirdly/its really hard to pick up multi-volume non-popular books like comics or manga).But the price is great and the customer service if you call is nice. I ordered RB2 and Beatles Rockband, Beatles just had a damaged case, didn't even look like the disc was played. RB2 was sent brand new even though I ordered both games used. Never buy a previously viewed game/movie as those are rentals and contain stickers and are usually scratched up. I bought some used books from them and they all came in acceptable condition and one was shrink wrapped brand new. Going to order another 50 dollars in books, 3 dollars an issue is a truly slick deal.

I ordered four used games with HOLIDAY code, then when I checked my email confirm, they didn't apply the discount! On top of it, the site won't let me see my order details in order to confirm whether the discount went through in the first place.
I just emailed their customer service about this, and if they don't rectify this, I will release the hounds! (I'm challenging the charge to my AMEX and letting gohastings.com deal with the consequences).

Edit: They didn't apply the discount to the ITEMIZED list, but they did apply it to the total order charge. My mistake, all clear.

Yeah, that's the only thing I don't really care for about this site,

what are good used cheap in stock ps3 game ?

Well I ordered Ninja Gaiden Sigma PS3 for $9.87 after discount. The reviews seem pretty high on it. Of course Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 just came out. I also ordered Little Big Planet for $34.86. Unfortunately, I had the GOTY edition in my cart but waited until after Amazon's crappy lightning deal day came and by then it was sold out. But I got LBP in the mail today and it was brand new and sealed!! So I am very happy.

Also they have Motorstorm for $5.98. Thats a good cheap game.

Right now Borderlands is in stock for $34.12. I am awfully tempted but I have a pile of games to get me through my holiday break.

I want some of the better games, but they seem to be OOS. :(

Quick question, why are there used DVD's for 9.99 and then lower down used DVD's for 2.49? The the difference in DVD's?

Unless I'm mistaken, the shipping charge is $2.99 to start for the first item(for standard shipping) and then it's $1 an item after that. So, what's so bad about that rate? I've almost always paid $2.75 to ship out games and dvd's to people I've traded with online, so $3 for one item isn't unreasonable.

Now, if you're talking about the expedited shipping charge of $7.99, that may be a bit steep by comparison, but still not TOO far off if you're using the USPS since a flat rate Priority Mail envelope is $5 plus any applicable Delivery Confirmation # and tax they may add for the faster shipping.

Both of the items I ordered from them during this sale arrived in their own seperate bubble mailers and the postage marked on it was $1.73 per package, which didn't even include the cost of the mailers themselves.

Of course, they probably buy them in huge bulk lots, so that only added maybe .20-.50 at most per package. That's still pretty damn close to the $3.99 shipping I paid and that was the TOTAL shipping cost.

If you can't wait for something to be shipped via standard shipping, then you have no real right to bitch about 'I got raped on shipping'. It's called patience. I can wait a week or so to get my stuff.:P

I ordered My Bloody Valentine 3D Blu Ray last time and they sent me the regular version. Also, they sent me a PS3 game with the rental sticker removed. Made me mad because the disc was sticky... all that said, theyre generally an okay place to buy from (in the past).

Ordered some stuff again earlier in the day. Deal is now dead. It was good while it lasted :woot:

They sell both Previously Viewed DVDs and Used DVDs at different prices. PVD discs are former rentals (Hastings is a chain like Blockbuster), and Used are ones they bought off customers as they buy used DVDs in their stores too. Used tends to be better quality as they only take used discs from customers when they are in perfect condition, whereas PVD tends to be more scratched up like what you get when you buy such discs at Blockbuster. Pricing sometimes is different between PVD and Used, although not consistently in any one direction. Also make sure you are not looking at used Blu-ray prices as their way of listing all their purchase options is rather confusing and it is easy to read it wrong.

They are awesome with returns. If you email them the problem, they will email back with a prepaid return label fro sending it back to them for a refund. There seems to be no way to do an exchange though. Just be aware it seems to take them 3-4 days to reply to emails so have patience.

How long do it take them to actually process the refund?
