Using Gamestop as a price reference for games is like using Alienware as a price reference for computers.

ssjmichael 01-31-2010 10:52 PM

completely misleading title

LlamaFever 01-31-2010 10:52 PM

Not good deal for me, 3.61 dollar tax + 43.76 = 47.37. Comparing this deal to Amazon's, they have it for 56.99 - 10 future game purchuse = 46.99 + FSSS or Prime. Another con, ship to store is SLOW.

well, in the case of games, gamestop is retail price. So using gamestop is like using best buy, target etc...unless they have a promo going on. So I don't really see it as quite the same situation.

It's not a bad deal, but the title is misleading and should be updated to show the price and $10 egift card.

agreed

should read, "Battlefield: Bad Company 2 $53.76 + tax + $10 egift card"

...or something similar

waaaagh 02-01-2010 07:15 AM

not a bad deal, but that title needs to be changed. $10 off and a $10 egift card are two different things.

Agreed. Title should read. "Battlefield: Bad Company 2 & $10 egift card: $53.76 after BCB + tax"

Just registered and will cross my fingers :) I don't suppose you got a multi use code? :D

Although at $56 from Walmart - 15% BCB + 9% tax = $52 (roughly) plus $10 e-Gift Card. hhmm may be better option...

I did not get a multi-use code. It was definitely one-time only. Assuming BCB works, yes, you might be better off with the Walmart option.
