Cliff notes: $62 worth of flowers and chocolates for $15. Read on.

1800flowers.com has several deals right now, many of which can be combined. First of all, free shipping (~$12 savings) and no fees on any flowers found here:

Also, right now there's 25% BCB. Search for "flowers".

To make it even hotter, Walgreens has a $5 box of chocolates with a peelie (on the outside - see below) containing a $20 1800flowers savings pass. Note that this isn't a coupon - it's more like a gift card. So not only does it work for all of their items that "are not available for coupons", it also doesn't invalidate the BCB! Best of all, somehow the BCB is calculated before the savings pass, so you get 25% off of the original price!

Example:
I bought a $40 arrangement. -$20 savings pass = $20. -25% BCB = $10. + $5 for the chocolates = $15.

And the chocolates were half off (originally $10). Total original prices were as follows:

Flowers - $40
Shipping - $12
Chocolate - $10
Total - $62

New total - $15


Some people are reporting that they've found these at other drug/grocery stores. If you don't have a Walgreens near you, you might want to check somewhere else.

Description of the chocolates:
Harry London assorted chocolates - big red, padded, heart-shaped box. At my store, the display box they were in was purple cardboard, with "$20 savings at 1800flowers" (or something similar) printed on it. They were in the same area as most of the valentine's candy.

Removing peelies from boxes that you don't buy IS STEALING, and many stores have begun to treat it as such. Even if you're not caught, it'll come back to you in the end. If you find a box that doesn't have a peelie immediately visible on the ouside of the box, it has been stolen - DO NOT BUY THE BOX EXPECTING TO FIND IT ON THE INSIDE.

Delivery Updates

-If your tracking number is valid (UPS has data on it) you will receive your order.
-If your tracking number is not valid (UPS/Fedex pulls invalid data) you will probably NOT receive your order. It could show up but make other arrangements to be safe.
-If your tracking number shows delivery exception your order is delayed due to snowmageddon. Get something for your girl/guy and wait until your order arrives.
-If you opted for local florist delivery get something as a backup that you can return. Don't expect anyone to show up unless you hear otherwise. Better safe than in the doghouse!

If you paid with a credit card be sure to keep an eye on the account to ensure that you are not overcharged. If you are, immediately file a chargeback for unauthorized charges/fraud.
If you paid with PayPal you are in luck and don't need to worry about unauthorized charges. Once the transaction is closed out nothing can change unless a dispute is opened.

1-800-Flowers Updates
1800 Flowers is working to implement a system to get those who actually bought the items new codes. Either a mail in of receipts, UPC, call in not sure yet. This from a high level employee and trusted source.. Please await news!

This was my favorite deal of the year, so far! Here's my totals:

12 orders: 6 delivered and 6 cancelled (all paid in full with peelies)
Got bing cashback on ALL 12 orders = $120
Loot: 1 Birthday Bouquet, 1 Box Truffles, 1 Salame 3-pack, 3 Swarovski collectibles

I haven't even began to try and get valid codes to replace my remaining peelies. Not sure if I will, but heck, they're good until end of the year. :lol:

It should only take between 3-5 days to be process. I sent in my pop and got them back within 3 days. My last two pop that I faxed it has been 4 days and counting. I'm going to email them at 7 days and see the status. Goodluck all.

Thanks Kimplovely, I am refaxing them. I asked for an update and was told that I had to wait, that was over a week ago and still nothing. I guess they can get them again from me. :)

So I sent the fax March 24th at 2:03pm CST
Just sent it again (same one) April 12 at 12:08pm CST.
I have 7 savings passes that I have the receipts for still, so I am hopeful to get $140 in savings passes!

If you place an order now, it will go thru. They were only cancelling the vday orders at the beginning of the fiasco. Any order you place now will be safe.

YES. All the previous code is deactivated, if you got a new code, they are stackable also.

I sent in 8 at the same time. I didnt have my receipts either. I used the scans that were posted here or in the other thread (not sure where Im at right now :lol: ).

I did the same thing you did, had it all ready to go a couple weeks ago and just kept pushing it off to the side. BUT I faxed it all in on Monday and I got my $160 savings pass in my email this morning! Dont procrastinate any longer!! :D

You can use more than one by calling in the order but then you can't get any cashback. The other option is to use one and put the rest on your credit card. Call the fresh rewards department and they will credit your card.

I was told they expire 12/31/10. I was able to use them with coupons. I just placed an order last week and got 30% twice from bing for the same order!
